Role Purpose Build, execute & "own" discrete paid search campaigns across multiple engines and multiple geographies to ensure the company's specific goals are met. Job Description - Responsible for day-to-day management of paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management etc. - Execute & contribute to channel/team level projects/initiatives requiring significant project management or coordination with other team members. - Manage & maintain relationships with internal customers/partners to communicate campaign performance/progress to goals. - Generate and disseminate management reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of campaign performance trends. - Consume data from our tracking providers (e.g. Omniture)and search agencies and work to ensure that the tracking data is used effectively to the benefit of the campaign. - Manage relationships with search engines & agencies to further optimize Expedia's search marketing campaigns. Qualifications: - University degree - 1-2 years experience in an SEM analyst, Marketing Analyst, or Business Analyst role. - Comfortable working with large amounts of data. - Ideally have experience within a marketing/business focus. - Good computer skills specifically a good knowledge of Microsoft applications (mainly Excel); with the ability to grasp new software packages - Excellent written skills - Strong attention to detail - Good communicator and team player - Strong numeracy and analytical skills - The ability to work to strict deadlines and juggle numerous projects - A self starter, with a flexible approach, who is keen to develop a marketing or business development career - Fluency in English is required, Spanish also preferred. |
